Lock one character before changing the scene

The useful result is not a set of pretty but unrelated portraits. The generator treats the uploaded image as a role lock, then repeats face geometry, hairstyle, body type, and signature outfit cues while each panel gets a different scene or pose.

Plan panels as scenes, not random portraits

A consistent character sheet works better when panels have a reason to differ. Story mode gives a storyboard rhythm, Brand mode creates profile and marketing crops, Fantasy mode keeps costume continuity, and Modern mode feels like an everyday lifestyle sequence.

Choose camera variation without losing the face

Camera changes are where many character tools break. Mixed and Portrait modes keep the face readable. Action mode is useful for movement, but hands and motion blur need inspection. Lineup mode is best when a designer needs clean front, side, and three-quarter views.

Know where identity drift still happens

Even strong identity prompts can drift with extreme profiles, covered hair, tiny faces, or big costume changes. Strict lock reduces drift, but it can make expressions less varied. Expressive lock gives more acting range and needs closer review before publishing.

FAQ

Consistent character questions

It is designed for that, but the input matters. A clear reference with visible hairline, eyes, nose, and outfit cues gives the model more anchors. Extreme side profiles, masks, heavy sunglasses, or low-resolution faces can still drift.

Use Strict for model sheets, avatars, and continuity checks. Balanced is better for brand content because it allows lighting and pose changes. Expressive is useful for storyboards, but you should inspect eyes, mouth, hands, and costume details.

It outputs one square multi-panel sheet. That makes it easier to compare identity consistency at a glance and avoids mismatched exports from separate generations.

Four panels is the safest default. Three panels gives larger faces and cleaner inspection. Six panels is useful for storyboards, but smaller faces increase the chance of identity drift.

It can preserve major outfit cues such as jacket color, collar shape, glasses, or hairstyle. Tiny logos, jewelry, and patterned fabric may change, so add the most important costume detail in the notes.

Zoom into eyes, teeth, hands, hairline, earrings, and sleeve edges. If one panel looks like a sibling instead of the same person, regenerate with Strict lock and fewer panels.

“Strict lock made the four panels usable for a pitch. The hands still needed checking, but the face stayed recognizably the same.”
